Frequently Asked Questions
How are the mosaics made?
Each mosaic is made by hand, with each piece of glass, tile, etc., cut specifically to fit your design.

Mosaics can be made for indoor-only or outdoor use, and can be made in custom sizes.

Do you ship the mosaics?
Yes, I will ship your mosaic anywhere around the world. I am located in Switzerland, so please keep in mind that the shipping time and cost will vary depending on your location. All shipping charges will be applied to the cost of your mosaic, and will not be 100% accurate until I actually ship the item (although I can give a general estimate when you order the mosaic)
How long does it take to make a mosaic?
This depends primarily on three factors: size, material, and method. The larger mosaics take longer than the small ones, and using smaller pieces takes longer than constructing a mosaic with larger pieces that are grouted. Therefore, a large mosaic with small pieces, such as "Finn", can take over 60 hours for just the mosaic itself (plus additional time for framing). "Finn" and "Scout" were made without any grout between the glass pieces. A Mosaic with larger pieces which uses grout (such as "Minnesota Memories") will be less time-consuming.
When will I receive my mosaic order?
The completion date will depend on the size and style you chose, and what other orders have already placed before yours.

If you have a specific date you need for your mosaic (birthday, anniversary, etc) please let me know ASAP and I will do my best to accommodate your deadline.

After the consultation I can give you an estimate on when the mosaic can be completed.

*Please add on two weeks for shipping if you are hoping to have your order on a certain date in the US.
How do I order a custom pet mosaic?
The first step is to send me an email. I will reply with some basic questions to get a sense of what you want, and when you need it. I will also ask you to send a few photos of your pet. During our consultation we will decide together which photo is best suited to a mosaic, and I will get a sense of the style you prefer.
